For the past six years, I’ve had the honor and privilege of serving as your First Selectman and for nearly 30 years, I’ve been a small business owner in town. Both roles have strengthened my deep connection to our community and my commitment to making our town a place where families and businesses can thrive.

My husband Greg & I have lived, and raised our family, in Litchfield for 26 years. One of the reasons we chose to move back to to the town where Greg grew up, was because of the outstanding reputation of our public schools. Our twin daughters, Emily and Stacey, attended Litchfield Public Schools  and graduated from Litchfield High School. We saw firsthand the value of a strong public education system — and I’ve worked every day in office to support and strengthen it for the next generation.

My success is your success because it is you, the residents of Bantam, East Litchfield, Litchfield, Milton and Northfield, that inspire me each and everyday to serve you first and do what is best for our community.

From day one, my goals and intentions have been to make town government more responsive, more efficient, and more focused on the people we serve. My administration has been dedicated to:

Public Safety

Listening to your concerns about public safety and road safety and implementing real solutions in collaboration with our resident troopers and state partners.

Education

Supporting our public schools, teachers, and libraries — because education is the foundation of a strong, vibrant community.

Efficiency

Expanding automation and 24/7 access to essential town services, so government works for you — on your time.

Social Services

Growing social services, supporting CHORE services and transportation options, and the expansion of our food pantry to help seniors and families to remain independent and supported.

Economic Revitalization

Strengthening our local economy through a revitalized Economic Development Commission and highlighting all that our town’s businesses have to offer through the VisitLitchfieldCT marketing campaign.

Infrastructure

Investing in our infrastructure — improving and maintaining our roads, public buildings, parks, and parking — to ensure safety, accessibility, and long-term value for taxpayers. Watching every tax dollar to ensure smart, transparent spending focused on what matters most and benefits the residents of our town.

As a longtime local business owner, I understand how important it is to preserve the unique character of Litchfield while planning for a sustainable future. I believe in highlighting all that Litchfield has to offer — our natural beauty, our history, our strong sense of community — and ensuring that it continues to be a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family.

Greg and I have been married for 35 years and our daughters Emily and Stacey are married to two wonderful young men, Kien and Max. We are also the proud grandparents of three grandchildren, with another on the way! I’m also fortunate to be a dog mom to our rescue pup named Tucker.

Serving as your First Selectman has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together, but there’s more to do. With your support, I’ll continue working to make Litchfield stronger, more welcoming, and more vibrant for everyone.

I respectfully ask for your vote this November. I’m ready and energized for my 4th term!
